I found myself gazing upon the body of Christ, reflecting on His sacrifice, in a quiet room free of any distraction. I felt an emotion difficult to describe. Feeling captivated by this, I wanted to capture that emotion.

Depicted in this image is a golden cross being illuminated by a light coming from above, yet around it is only darkness. This is my representation of Christ. The purest light is cast down on the cross, resembling God sending His light to the world through Christ. In the darkness of the world, only Christ, with the light of the Father, can shine.
